He has the same witty banter and camaraderie between characters, I find myself grinning a lot reading his issues, and like Bendis he avoids relying on narration boxes and instead lets characters drive the narrative forward. I've already written previously about how Tom Taylor's Injustice is the funniest (and often heart-warming) shit I've ever read and now reading more of his stuff makes me feel like he's in the same wheelhouse as my favourite writer Bendis. Many were hoping to see their favorite comic roster appear on the big screen, especially with a brand new team led by Hawkeye hitting the streets of New York City in the newest Thunderbolts limited series.I read Phoenix Resurrection: The Return of Jean Grey (it was fine, though I'm still pissed about Marvel's treatment of Cyclops, who in 2017 is still dead along with what feels like half of Marvel's roster), and followed it with the X-Men: Red annual (published in 2018, but CMRO wisely placed it in their reading order after Resurrection). However, the live-action roster isn't taken from the comics, which upset some fans.
Updated on Octoby Scoot Allan: Marvel Studios recently announced a live-action adaptation of Thunderbolts that will appear in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. However, one line-up still stands above the others as the best version of the Thunderbolts. They either followed the premise of the original team or completely took the group in a different direction. A new heroic team known as the Thunderbolts rushed in to fill that void, though they initially had dark, ulterior motives. After the fall of Marvel's greatest heroes during Onslaught's attack on New York City, there was a large void left in the superhuman community.
